Nashville Executive Joins National Advisory Council

Today the Susan G. Komen Advocacy Alliance announced the launch of Komen’s Public Policy Advisory Council.  Local Komen Affiliate Board Chair, Marc Overlock was named to the Advisory Council. Overlock serves as the General Counsel for Metro Nashville Hospital Authority.  The advisory council is intended to provide a forum for various Komen stakeholders to offer their perspective on the organization’s public policy initiatives. 

Through a competitive application process from Affiliate representatives wishing to serve on the council, the Advocacy Alliance chose only seven representatives to join the advisory council.  Affiliate representatives serving on the council are Jeanette Beltran (Massachusetts Affiliate), Doris Garrett (Memorial Affiliate, Peoria), Rebecca Gray (Vermont-New Hampshire Affiliate), Jamie Ledezma (Central Valley Affiliate, Fresno), Marc Overlock (Greater Nashville Affiliate), Chris Pearson (Mid-Michigan Affiliate), and Ann Ritter (Philadelphia Affiliate).
