Participate in an Event
Whether you are a golfer, a bowler, a chef or a runner, you can contribute to the fight against breast cancer 365 days a year. By participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® or another Komen event, you become part of a grassroots network that has changed the way the world talks about and treats breast cancer. You can make a difference as you celebrate survivorship, honor those who have lost their battle, and most importantly, raise funds and awareness for the fight against this life-threatening disease. There are many different ways to support Komen's mission.
Fit for the Cure
Fi(gh)t For The Cure™
Help KNOCKOUT breast cancer. Receive a complimentary fitting in a Wacoal or b.tempt’d bra from a Wacoal fit specialist. For every woman that participates*, Wacoal will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® for breast cancer research and outreach programs. Wacoal will also donate an additional $2 for every Wacoal bra, shapewear piece or b.tempt’d bra purchased at these events. You will receive a black and pink tote bag with each $80 purchase.
Wacoal will make a minimum guaranteed donation of $250,000 in 2010. Fit for the Cure® is a registered trademark of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Survivor Celebration
Our 2012 Survivor Celebration is “Off to the Races”! The Kentucky Derby themed viewing party will be May 5, 2012. We are pleased to partner with WSMV Channel 4’s Demetria Kalodimos as honorary host and look forward to an exciting afternoon at the races for survivors, their families and friends, as well as friends of the Komen Greater Nashville Affiliate.
When: Saturday, May 5, 2012, 3 – 7 p.m.
