Funding Priorities
Up to 75 percent of the net income from each Affiliate stays in the local community to fund breast health education, screening and treatment programs. A minimum of 25 percent of the net income from each Affiliate supports the National Komen Grants program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research, awards, and educational and scientific conferences around the world.
Grants are available each year to programs that provide breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs within our 11-county service area. Small grants are available year round.
