When registering for the Greater Nashville Race for the Cure, individuals and teams have the opportunity to honor the memory of a loved one or celebrate a survivor by purchasing a redbud tree to be planted in their honor. In the spring redbuds bloom pink and will be a visual reminder of the color associated with breast cancer.
If you would like to purchase a tree without registering for the Race for the Cure, you can click on the link below.
In 2012, we planted over 100 redbud trees along the MetroCenter Greenway. The ongoing partnership between Susan G. Komen, Metro Parks, and Sound Forest will help revitalize the greenway and help it recover from the Flood of 2010.
Click here for a map of where each tree is planted.
